Affiliate Program Participation
The Website may engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the Website. If you click on a link for an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales for purposes of commissions.
Feasting Not Fasting is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and links to Amazon.com. As part of this Amazon Associates program, the Website will post customized links, provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to their website. This program utilizes cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales. This being said, I only endorse products that I use and truly believe in.
Newsletters
On the Website, you may subscribe to our newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows the Website to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behavior will not be passed on to third parties.

Content Disclosure
This blog was created as a way to share what I have learned on my culinary health journey with others that are on a similar path. This is very much a learning process and I am by no means a professional chef, photographer, dietician, nutritionist, or writer.
I offer nutritional information for recipes contained on this site as a courtesy using a plugin and cannot guarantee precise results. These figures should be considered estimates since various factors (ingredients, products used, etc.) can affect the actual nutrition of a recipe.
I support the costs of running this website through advertising, sponsorships, affiliate programs, and other paid compensation. I only accept sponsorships for products I love and use that I think you will love too. This does not influence my writing and all opinions are completely my own. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.
The contents of this statement can be updated at any time, per my discretion.
Copyright
All copyright laws are applicable on this blog and it’s contents. If you want to use my pictures to promote my recipe or website in general you may do so by sharing one photograph as long as you link back to my original post. Please do not repost recipes or other written content from my site without my permission.
Editorial Policies
Feasting Not Fasting is committed to providing unique, inspiring recipes that help you eat well every day. Wherever possible, step by step images are shown to help make each recipe a success.
Recipe Development and Content Development
In the new realm of AI generated content, please know that we are committed to authenticity and providing original images and recipes that have been tested and actually work. All photography has been done by me, Christy Gurin, for this site exclusively. All recipes have been tested at least 2-3 times, and usually 5+ times before they make it to the blog.
This blog has been active since 2014 and because of this, some of the earlier recipes and images will be revised from time to time. I usually do this because I’ve found a faster, easier, better way to make it or due to feedback from comments and reviews. Notes on recipe changes are usually added to the recipe card note section or sometimes shown in italics directly below the recipe in the blog post.
As for the photographs, whenever I have extra time, I like to reshoot old pictures to make them more appetizing and authentic and to capture valuable steps of the process along the way. While I edit images to enhance and make them look more true to life, I do not use AI generated recipes or images on this site and encourage you to watch out for this on the internet and social media!
Comments and Reviews
We welcome comments and love to hear from you!
Comments on recipes are individually read and approved. Along with their comment, readers can also leave a star rating for each recipe ranging from one to five stars. Comments are subject to moderation and negative comments offering constructive criticism are typically approved to provide an honest representation of readers’ overall experience with the recipe. Feasting Not Fasting reserves the right not to publish comments with offensive, disrespectful, or irrelevant information or spam.
I will jump in and answer every comment I can and always try to respond to questions. If you need an answer to a recipe you’re making right away, you are welcome to email me directly to make sure I see it. We have all made a recipe from the internet that didn’t turn out well and I truly would hate for that to happen to anyone coming to my site. I’m human and make mistakes but do my best to make sure that every recipe posted to this site works well and is delicious. I take feedback very seriously and appreciate anyone that takes the time to give it!
