The BEST Creamy Cilantro Sauce recipe you’ll ever have with Asian flare from a combo of sweet Thai chili sauce and kewpie Mayo that’s just as good drizzled on tacos as it is on a stir fry. With just 4 ingredients, you can make this zesty sauce yourself in just 5 minutes!

A spoon holding green chutney above a white bowl, with creamy cilantro sauce and fresh cilantro in the background.

Looking for your new favorite sauce recipe? This creamy, dreamy cilantro sauce is just the ticket. It pairs just as well drizzled over seafood, like my salmon poke bowls, as it does on tacos, grilled chicken, scrambled eggs or anything you can think of. It’s that good. I used it on my ground beef lettuce wraps the other day and it was out of this world delicious.

If you’ve tried the Bamboo Sushi green machine sauce and wondered how to make it at home, this recipe is for you. Everyone else, just imagine a restaurant quality flavorful sauce that you could drink. It’s punchy with full bodied umami cilantro flavor that can turn even a mediocre dinner into something wow-worthy. This is a that sauce.

The creaminess and unique flavor make it different than every other Make a batch and keep it in the fridge for up to 5 days, using it to elevate everything you can think of. Check out the rest of my sauce recipes for more flavorful condiments!

A bowl of green cilantro sauce with a spoon, on a wooden board with fresh cilantro and a small bowl of chili sauce.

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:

Cilantro, Thai chili sauce, kewpie mayo, and white miso paste arranged on a light surface with labels.

How to Make This Sauce

To make this cilantro sauce recipe, you just need to do two simple steps:

  1. Put everything in the blender (I used my magic bullet).
A blender cup filled with cilantro, mayonnaise, miso paste, and sauce, ready to be blended.
  2. Blend it up until smooth!

I’ve made this recipe over a dozen times now. You can add garlic, black pepper, cumin or whatever other ingredients sound good to you. That being said, I wanted to keep it simple and as is, it’s SO good. Enjoy and let me know what you drizzle it on!
