Another year down for the count! I know this post is coming later than usual, but in my defense, feeding and caring for another brand new human has turned my life completely upside down. In the best possible way, but upside down nonetheless. My usual activities have been pushed to the wayside and replaced new routines that make more sense for a mama. Little nugget is 13 weeks old (!!!) and we’re just starting to get into our rhythm.
2017 had some serious hiccups but there was so much good too. On a personal level, obviously the big one for me was baby Stella, but it was a big year on so many other levels too. We traveled quite a bit (Amalfi coast, Alaska) and had tons of mini adventures in between the big moments.
Also, this blog is officially four years old! And, I hate to say it, but although I love it, blogging really took a back burner in my life last year. I shared 26 new recipes, most of which were in the first few months before pregnancy took over and robbed me of my energy! This year, I plan to share more recipes than ever so stay tuned!
I’m revamping some of my old recipes that I posted in the early days so you’ll see a spattering of those too! I’m really excited about this since so many of those recipes are great but got lost in the archives due to their cringeworthy pictures, typos, and various other issues. Hopefully they’ll get the moment in the sun they deserve and you’ll find at least a few that become regulars for you.
